It started with “more.”
For a while, my daughter’s favorite word was “more” – and it almost always meant snacks. At the same time, she had become obsessed with purses. Anything that had a handle became a purse that she was so proud of.
That’s when the idea clicked: what if I could combine two things she already loved – snacks and purses?
I wanted to create something she could carry herself, something that felt fun and special to her, while still making everyday life easier for me. When I went looking, I found plenty of snack cups, but nothing that brought those two worlds together in a way that felt stylish, functional, and made for little hands.
So I made one.
Mini Mayfair began with the Snack Purse, but the idea is bigger than snacks. It’s about creating everyday products that give you more: simplifying snack time for parents, fostering independence for kids, and giving everyone something to be excited about… and looking cute while doing it.
Where style meets real life
Mini Mayfair began with a simple belief: the everyday things we use with our kids can be practical without feeling purely utilitarian.
Parents make countless tiny decisions every day – what goes in the diaper bag, what comes in the car, what gets packed for the playground, what helps get everyone out the door a little faster.
Function matters.
But so does the way those things make us feel.
I wanted to create something that worked for real family life while still feeling thoughtful, playful, and a little bit special. Something that could give my daughter a sense of independence while also giving me one less thing to carry, open, or manage.
That balance (what kids need and what parents actually want) is at the heart of Mini Mayfair.
Made for little independence
One of my favorite things about watching my daughter grow has been seeing how proud she is when she can do something herself.
Carry it herself.
Choose it herself.
Bring it with her.
Those moments may seem small, but they matter.
The Snack Purse was designed around that feeling. It turns something as ordinary as carrying a snack into something a child can take ownership of.
And when she picks it up and proudly heads out the door with it, it feels like more than a snack container.
It feels like hers.
For moms, too
Mini Mayfair was created for kids, but it was also created from the perspective of a mom.
I know what it feels like to want the things you bring into your home and your child’s life to be useful, but also intentional.
I know what it feels like to want products that make the day a little easier without adding more clutter, more compromise, or one more thing you don’t really love.
And I know the feeling of watching your child mimic your behavior you do and realizing how closely they notice the little things.
There is something really special about that.
More than a Snack Purse
The Snack Purse is our first product, but Mini Mayfair was never meant to be just one clever snack container.
The bigger idea is simple:
Create the things parents want in a way that truly works for kids.
Products that are thoughtful without being precious.
Practical without being boring.
Playful without feeling disposable.
And designed to make everyday routines feel just a little more special.
What we believe
The little things matter.
A snack on the way to the park. A purse carried proudly through the grocery store. A small moment of independence. Everyday routines are where so much of childhood happens.
Function and beauty can coexist.
Parents should not have to choose between something that works and something they actually like looking at.
Kids deserve products made with them in mind.
Not just smaller versions of adult things, but thoughtful designs that consider how little hands actually carry, reach, hold, and use them.
Joy is useful, too.
If a child is excited to carry something themselves, that matters. If a parent smiles every time they see it, that matters too.

Mini Mayfair grew out of my own experience as a mom looking for something I couldn’t find.
My background is in product and project management, so naturally, once the idea took hold, I started thinking about how it could work better – not just how it could look better.
Every decision comes back to the same question:
Would I actually want this in my own life?
Makenzie
Chief Testing Officer
Snack connoisseur. Purse enthusiast. Professional crumb maker.
Makenzie is the reason Mini Mayfair exists – and she takes product testing very seriously.
She is also the final reminder that no matter how thoughtful something looks on paper, it still has to work for the little person actually using it.
What comes next
We’re just getting started.
Mini Mayfair is being built slowly and intentionally, with real families at the center of what comes next.
New colors. New ideas. New everyday things made a little more thoughtfully.
And if we’re doing it right, every one of them should make life a little easier for parents and a little more exciting for kids.
